and I’d be in heaven.
Five years ago,
A thought of you,
would send my heart racing,
and pounding in my chest.
Five years later,
I find that you,
Never felt,
The way I felt.
Five years later,
we have gone down,
our separate paths,
the journey apart.
Five years later,
I am still waiting for words,
that I wished I had heard,
standing in the grass…
Five years later;
I just want to wish you a Happy Birth Day,
Cause past five years don’t matter anymore!
